The land for constructing the Darwin School has an irregular quadrilateral shape. iDesign Viet Nam has connected the classroom blocks into a harmonious L-shaped complex that blends with the landscape. The curved architecture helps reduce harsh direct sunlight.
By implementing a "green roof" system, we've minimized the greenhouse effect. We've also optimized the playground area to serve children's recreational and physical activities.
Greenery plays a positive role in the kindergarten environment, contributing to improving the overall setting and promoting human well-being and psychological balance. Using greenery is also a multi-benefit solution: aesthetic appeal, environmental benefits, and climate regulation.
In shared spaces, the solution involves planting some large trees combined with flower beds. However, when the new structure is introduced and utilized, the need for greenery as shade and landscaping for each specific area becomes necessary.
For external spaces, it's advisable to use some shade trees combined with flower pots placed in the entrance corridor leading to the main hall. This reduces heat radiation and noise while enhancing the aesthetics of these outdoor areas. For some indoor spaces, incorporating small potted plants in between various seating areas creates a cool and pleasant atmosphere.
iDesign Viet Nam creates a school with functional and safe spaces, where children can freely play and unleash their creativity in line with the preschool age, allowing them to confidently showcase their talents. It's a world of their own, with favorable conditions and minimal external influence. However, there should still be harmony with the surrounding environment, providing points of connection to the outside world that make them feel protected while encouraging communication, integration, and self-confidence in children.
