The Darrow STEM Center renovation is the first major renovation to the school's science building in over 45 years. The renovation dramatically updates the building for the next 45 years. The project included completely re-cladding the building with fibre-cement siding and nailbase insulation, and replacement of all exterior windows, doors & skylights to achieve high-performance energy standards. The renovation features custom wood storefronts with argon filled glazing, new condensing boilers, upgraded ventilation controls and louvers, new exterior sinker-cypress columns, and new exterior social spaces. The project has just been completed.
