Area-17 designed the new captivating Daphne’s multibrand store in one of the busiest shopping hub in Zhengzhou, China. The one-of-a-kind façade is covered in 6500 rounded movable mirrors. The wind stirs the reflective flakes, creating a choppy sea of varied shapes and reflections according to weather conditions and surroundings. Changing shapes, lights, shadows, and colors transform the building into the focal point of the city context.
Daphne is a leading female shoes brand in China, with more than 3500 stores. The new location hosts Daphne Collection, Daphne, and Daphne Young collections.
