The design for the Miami Beach Dance Academy is a result of the conceptual idea that the building be designed as a stage. The tectonics of the building are fairly passive and neutral, allowing for the dance studios, lobbies, and circulation to be the life of the building. Showcasing these spaces allows for a very dynamic relationship with the urban context, which changes throughout the day depending on which spaces of the building are in use.
