A take away restaurant in the center of Mogylev.
This project was about working with severe spatial constraints, where a small 40m2 space had to integrate seating and waiting area with a full size industrial grill. For this task we opted to coat everything in a single material, a fireproof diatomite plaster with a distinct terracotta wash. The grill and its parts are all contained within soft curved volumes that integrate it seamlessly into the rest of the space. The are is also used as part of the restaurant’s storage, so to organise this we created an open shelving system along the wall which leads into the kitchen. Costume light fixtures and metal wall mounted decorations populate the space along with neon art pieces.
