Located in Playa Honda, a picturesque neighborhood in Montevideo, this six-story condominium building faces the Rio de la Plata, the wide river between Uruguay and Argentina. On a site which is heavily regulated by city hall ordinances, our building attempts to make the most of the surrounding geography. As the building reaches the top, for instance, it twists to follow the shoreline. At the rear of the building, all three first-floor units have a pool and a deck area with traditional Uruguayan barbecues as well as sculptural wall reliefs designed by the architect.
