Situated at the junction of Jalan & Lintang Sungai Pinang, Georgetown, the new 5-storey Mercedes Benz workshop houses 21 service and repair bays. The workshop is wrapped with a striking silver and black facade throughout. While the black bottom facade depicts the heaviness of the ground, the silver top facade portrays the connection to the sky. It adopts the client’s international corporate image colour & high specifications, reflecting the company's pursuance of quality and excellence.
The project was assessed using Industrial New Construction (INC) under the Green Building Index and was awarded Provisional Gold in Design Result Assessment with 81 points. Some notable initiatives:
- RWHT: Harvested 83.91% & 1015m3/year. Ensure responsible water usage for WC Flushing, Janitor (General Cleaning), Car Wash & Planterbox Irrigation
- 3 Nos of EV Charging Station inclusive of super-fast 180kW DC chargers, which underscore Cycle & Carriage’s dedication to advancing eco-mobility solutions.
- HVLS Fans to facilitate ventilation at workshop area
- Renewable energy using solar panels (RE: 62kWp / 79300kWh/yr)
- BEI with RE: 150.53kWh/yr/m2 & without RE: 136.5kWh/yr/m2
- Energy-efficient air-conditioning systems
- LED light fixtures equipped with photocell and motion sensors to maximise energy savings
- Energy Management System for real-time building monitoring of energy usage
- Façade External Views 84% with using mainly Low E Glass to achieve required SC & UValue
- Daylight glare control using curtain blinds

The uniqueness of Cycle & Carriage Sungai Pinang, whilst standing 5 storeys tall, is devoid of road ramps but instead employs car lifts with redundancies and a 100% backup power supply ensuring uninterrupted operations, even during emergencies.
