This is about a
remodeling of a restaurante in Natal-RN, called Pizzaria Reis Magos. The
exercise would became the old pizza restaurant in a new Contemporany food
restaurant. The first step was remodel the floor plan, becoming it more clear and
functional. The second, was to study how change the facades reusing the
original walls.
The conceptual idea here is completely
change the old facades, that looked like an italian Cantina. To do this, the architect did a curved volume, with oval
opennings, and to become this , was did an envelope done with curved aluminum
brises. It is just one model of brise, that dance on facade and is cut in differents
parts. And it is the way these brises dance that moving the facade.
