Erha Pondok Indah is a commercial
building that was designed as one of main branches clinic for the network of
Erha Clinic Indonesia. The clinic is located at Jalan Iskandar Muda, Pondok
Indah, South Jakarta. Project with site area of approximately 1300m2 began in
2009 and completed in 2011. Building area of 2342m2 is done by several parties
cooperate, HMP Architects as the architectural consultant, Studio 42 as the
interior consultant, Lux Vista as the lighting consultant,PT. Praharsa
Vastupala as the structure contractor, and PT. Intraco Lestari as the finishing
contractor.
The concept of building form of Erha
Pondok Indah was inspired by a part of Art-Deco style. Curve edge forms appear on the building facade
that gives unique impression. 'Masculine' form of a box of the building is
minimized by giving curved accents on the corner of the building and make it
smooth and little bit feminine. Modern elements combined with the use of glass
elements on one side of the building with the aim of providing openings and
natural lighting. Expression and the appearance of this building gives the
impression of simple and clean look which became the guide for architectural
details and interior ambience that is created.
If the building is observed through the
site, the building is designed to follow the shape of the available site. Shape
of the building was designed by utilizing the limited land optimally, so the
needs of this clinic can be achieved throughout the building and functioning
optimally. Zoning outside and inside the building became the basis for
regulating the circulation of visitor's vehicles, customers circulation, and
staffs-doctor's circulation.
