Traditionally
in a movie theater, the screen is covered with red curtain. Like a traditional
movie theatre, the Pushkinsky Theatre itself becomes the screen for daily users
of the Pushkinskaya Square. Through a camera which is called “C-C-C (Curtain
Call Camera)”, picture of people taken and projected to the building’s façade. CCC
provides interaction between the new look of the cinema hall and the historic
Pushkinskaya Square. The new façade communicates and interacts with the
Pushkinskaya Square through the visual images of the people at the square. Façade
itself becomes the screen and the glass beads represent the traditional red
curtains.
