A railroad pedestrian crossing with covered pavillion space for recreational activities on the banks of the Savamala river. The project is site specific, using only locally reclaimed materials and constructed as a workshop with help from albanian, serbian, and german architecture students. The project was constructed from reclaimed burned wood collected from a property outside of Belgrade which was abandoned and derelict. The water, fire, new, old, idea is very much the motivation for the design and is seen through material selection and detailing.
