The site called for an iconic building at the edge of the public park and close to the ocean activities. The subdued facade is a container for a vividly lit interior with cascading light from a large skylight, and 360 degrees of windows on the main floor. There is a four-storey glass elevator linking the four car garage to the private roof deck and enormous hot tub. Light filters through the stainless steel landing, creating dappled patterns of sunlight across the floor.
