The Cube Home: Eco CultureHouse is a design for Cube Island in Utrecht, all houses on the island are in the shape of a cube from 9x9x9 or 10x10x0 meters.
The main aim of the Ecological Culture House is bringing balance between the cultural demands of the residents and a healthy natural living environment. The use of the house responds to the changing living culture of the residents. The cultural rooms are composed around a patio, the house provides a view of greenery and natural cooling. On the serving wall are all water affiliated groups, using a gray water system and provides the home of green energy. In addition, the wall served as circulation space creates the spatial coherence between the different rooms. The house is flexible in design and its space can be easily rearranged.
