A retired couple downsized from a suburban house to a 12,000 sq.ft. condo in a vibrant waterfront area of Jersey City. The beautiful sweeping views of the Hudson River inspired the design for numerous built-in solutions in the space. The clients had asked for almost all furniture to be custom built to fit their needs for storage and multi use so as to maximize on the new and smaller space that they would now call home.
The project had nine distinct built in furniture pieces: twenty foot long multi purpose wall unit, TV/media storage panel, writing desk, dining table, kitchen island addition, guest bed, Master Bedroom bed, nightstands and a multipurpose storage and media wall in the Master Bedroom.
The pieces were custom crafted by Stephen Iino of Iino Inc.
