This project was an Interior renovation of a multifamily residential twin tower complex in Arlington. KGD Architecture renovated the main entrance and lobby, all amenity spaces on the ground floor and the lower concourse areas. The project combines elements of residential, hospitality and office design to give the interior space a more contemporary look and feel with understated luxury in mind.
The renovation included the ceilings, lighting fixtures, mill work, terrazzo restoration and repair. Our designers hand selected new chandeliers, a new concierge desk, seating areas, custom area rugs in the north and south amenity corridors, custom designed bronze and stainless steel handrails and artwork. Clear glass walls in the community room and leasing office allow light into the space, providing an open transparent atmosphere. The elevator cabs and lobbies leading to the residential towers were renovated and refurbished with new finishes and updated lighting.
