The Crombé winehouse shop concept’s goal was to have the customers experience a completely new way of shopping. The basic idea was to start from the look and feel of a warehouse, to which subsequently we added light and finesse. Even though the wines are being presented in their original packaging, the clean lines of the metal frames still ensure familiarity and perspective. Every bottle hangs in the frame in the identical inclination the sommelier would serve them in. The 12 m rack houses the champagnes and lockers. Per locker, clients can safely store up to 30 bottles, using their own, personal key. These lockers can be reached via a transparent gangway at a height of 3.5 m. In the Bordeaux area, 2 pop-up stores have been installed, made out of perforated metal, creating an airy space which appeals to each customer. The spirits aisle was given a totally different atmosphere. We used wooden slats, fixed together. The openings between the slats invite the customer to have a look around the corner.
