The tenant improvement includes 10,000 square feet of space in an industrial brick building once occupied by the Western Can Company. The new design features two broadcasting studios, accompanying sounds booths, large workrooms, a kitchen, lunch room, break-out rooms of all flavors, and all of the other facilities required to run an interactive social classroom of the 21st century.
The design focuses on a sophisticated palette of textures and materials integral to the function of the space. Large walls of original glass windows and open frame steel trusses are retained and enhanced as part of the aesthetic. BUILD is the design architect on the project, with the talented folks at Zack | de Vito as the architect of record.
