This facility provided the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Indians with a much needed medical facility and community space. A three part planned community, Phase I included a 12,500 SF medical facility with radiology and dedicated pediatric exam plus community classroom. Phase II will include a gathering space for community functions, multi-purpose gymnasium, commercial kitchen, and childcare and phase II includes swimming pool and exercise facilities.
A natural color palette with rustic accents were used along with display spaces to incorporated Tribal artifacts. An energy analysis was performed to determine energy saving measures and to reduce lighting and mechanical loads. Interior materials were chosen to limit the spread of infection.
