Cova II is a residential complex located in the foothills of the mithras hill in an estate with a long and curved front.
Beyond the issue of the architectural program the land situation presented a major challenge. To the south, it was bordering on an almost vertical slope, which complicates the visual and the ability to target the building to the north-south sides.
Because of these circumstances was proposed a scheme that maximizes the use of the base building system wall charger to achieve the greatest stabilization in a low cost, because it was previously a mine that produced crushed for construction.
The proposal was based on the location of two almost parallel bodies attached to each other. The first side oriented toward the "north", which includes home parking and serves as a visual barrier that separates the departments of the slope.
The main body has different types of apartments along and atop the building and in the bottom areas are located the common areas.
The access to the departments its a long span located in the center of the building, this allows to have a great view of the hills before the entrance to the elevators. In each level, the access to the departments is through a hall.
Finally, the green areas of the building, as all departments, are facing to the south, which is the most privileged view of the place. The access to the center of these is by crossing the double height vain of the building.
