The interior concept of this country house seamlessly echoes its exterior — defined by clean lines and sharp contrasts. The architectural rhythm of the façade flows naturally into the interior layout, creating a coherent and balanced living environment.
The material and color palette mirrors that of the exterior: a nuanced light grey paired with deep black. This contrast forms the backbone of the spatial organization — with the light-toned envelope surrounding a darker core, just as in the façade’s composition.
The house is divided into two zones:
– The light perimeter, which includes the kitchen, living room, hallway, guest bedroom, and children’s room.
– The dark core, designed as the owner’s private suite — a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom.
A dark sofa positioned within the bright living room serves as a visual bridge between these two areas. Accents of blue and orange are subtly introduced through lighting features and colored glass elements, adding depth without overwhelming the scheme.
INTERIOR HIGHLIGHTS
Color is introduced primarily through tinted glass. In the kitchen, a backlit glass panel evokes a sunset sky. In the bathrooms, shower partitions are made from richly tinted glass — deep blue and warm brown.
A standout feature is the large mirrored door that separates the entrance area from the main living spaces. When open, it reads as a full-height mirror along the wall; when closed, it functions as a seamless partition, blending into the space like an architectural element.
In the living room, the traditional television is replaced by a projector hidden within a custom-built console — maintaining visual clarity and minimalism.
Lighting throughout the home is deliberately understated: large luminous ceiling panels in the bathrooms, and nearly invisible recessed spotlights elsewhere, integrated flush with the surfaces to preserve the clean lines of the design.
