CORUJAS
The visual communication project for the Corujas building stands out because of its simplicity. All black and white, the project adopts a minimalist style. The spaciousness of the building allowed for intuitive and precise signage. The typography used in the project is characterized by straight lines and rectangular modules. The apparent metal structure, which has an imposing presence, is painted with arrows and numbers that guide visitor flow through the space. A large ruler stamped on a 9 meter wall shows the building’s measures. The highlight of the project is a large panel created for a house that ended up being enclosed by the building. The large drawing with thin lines is the imaginary cut out side view of the house. Done on autocad, the drawing was enlarged and reproduced on a 1:1 scale and painted with precision on the walls that surround the house plot. All the painting was made through the stencil technique. All the technical details of an architectural project are present in the drawing. The panel is a project of what's real.
