This project aimed to modernise and revitalise the main entrance of the building, creating a space that reflects the contemporary and professional identity of a 21st century corporation, while offering a welcoming and functional environment for users and visitors. The design was carried out by Work+, Serrano+'s corporate interiors firm, with the collaboration of Luz + Forma as lighting consultant.
The lobby features outdoor areas that offer a fluid transition between the urban environment and the interior space. The architectural concept is based on fluid and dynamic lines that envelop the visitor from the outside to the inside, generating a feeling of movement and continuity. Priority was given to the use of high-quality materials, such as marble and warm wood, which are complemented by lighting that highlights the organic shapes of the space. The integration of green areas for rest in the outdoor area provides a balance between functionality and well-being, bringing the organic design from outside to inside the lobby.
The tour begins at the main entrance of the building, where the intervention of the exterior space was carried out, turning it into an urban oasis. New green areas were incorporated at the entrance, inviting visitors to take a breath before entering the building. The design incorporates concrete outdoor furniture with soft curves that visually connect with the organic lines of the interior lobby, establishing a continuity between the exterior and the interior.
Inside Corporativo 2000, the lobby has been remodeled, with curved lines illuminated by LED strips on the ceiling, creating a dynamic atmosphere on the walls evoking movement and technological innovation. These lines subtly guide the visitor through the space, connectin
g the reception with the access and transit areas. The palette of materials, which includes marble, wood and finishes in neutral tones, creates a feeling of elegance and sophistication, while the integration of indirect light accentuates the organic shape of the space, highlighting the details and creating an enveloping atmosphere. The reception furniture, with its minimalist and modern design, blends perfectly into the environment, contributing to the visual and functional coherence of the lobby.
The design of a curved wall at the back of the lobby combines aesthetics and functionality. Its curves, covered with carefully selected textiles, not only bring a sense of movement but also fluidity to the space, but also serve an acoustic purpose. Behind this covering, strategically placed acoustic panels were installed to optimize sound quality in the reception area. This ensures that the space, despite its large volume and constant traffic, maintains an acoustically pleasant environment, allowing clear conversations and reducing ambient noise. The integration of these elements demonstrates a comprehensive approach to design, where every detail contributes to the visual beauty as well as the auditory comfort of users. Two mirrors were placed at the ends, giving an infinity effect in the main bay with the play of light on the wall and ceiling.
The lighting has been designed with a focus on sustainability and responsible design. By using LED light strips along the curves of the space, not only is a modern and futuristic aesthetic achieved, but the environmental impact is also minimized. LED lights, known for their high energy efficiency and long lifespan, significantly reduce electricity consumption compared to traditional lighting sources.
This focus on efficient lighting reflects a commitment to reducing the carbon footprint and creating a space that is not only visually stunning, but also environmentally responsible.
