Corporate Campus Apeldoorn
Recently the Corporate Campus Apeldoorn (the
Netherlands) was completed, a new headquarter of one of the major insurance
companies in the Netherlands. The campus is situated on a unique location, on
the border between the city of Apeldoorn and the biggest nature reserve of the
country. In this fascinating context ADP architects developed a new, original
and modern office concept, in line with the rich tradition of the client in
providing innovative workspaces.
The program is spread out over the entire campus site in separate low-rise
buildings. Besides office buildings the project
accommodates a conference centre, logistics building, several pavilions
and a car parking. The buildings are positioned in a way they enclose the
landscape and create different types of external space, such as the valley, the
sun deck, the forest and the entrance square. The relation between the
buildings, the interior and the landscape is the main focus of the project:
‘working in a green environment’.
