An existing structure used as workshop to produce windows, was converted into a private hi-tech medical multipurpose center. We choose a monolithic form for the building, working on a system based on square signs on the wall, mixed to real windows of different dimension. This is inspired to the casual and necessary mediterranean architecture, like the color of the white wall of the facade. This is also to realize a high-performance building with many features that follows the nZEB philosophy (nearly Zero Energy Building):
- the amount of energy provided by on-site photovoltaic system sources is equal to the amount of energy used by the building
- No heat-bridges for attachment wall-windows and all over the building
- Exterior Insulation Finishing System of 18 cm. with high performance
- Low emission windows with security windows screen
