Data center getting closer to cities – located in downtown Chicago – first ground up data center in downtown
Downtown environment influenced the design to be a little more polished
Lot line to lot line construction, unique to data center industry
Facility is mixture of cast in place concrete and traditional steel, adjacent to one another
The project incorporates a material palette comprised of brick, metal panel and curtain wall to connect the building to Chicago’s vernacular and this south downtown industrial area.
