For Mizzi Studios it is very important to make a statement or accent and highlight a space by contrast lighting and colour. They spend a lot of time on the programming of their lighting designs and always ensure they have the flexibility of being able to precisely set the levels of light through a dimmable control system.
The Light Cast installation focused on creating a symbolic lighting art piece for London which was broadcast globally for IALD’s Chase the Dark event in order to unite IALD’s many local communities around the globe in one activity that emphasises the power of light in human life.
As a result, the studio installed a floating light piece on water with bright blue lights that gives a dramatic feeling and creates a reflective ambience.
