The UAE's 2023 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28) highlighted global efforts to combat climate change, emphasizing the goal of capping the temperature rise at 1.5 ℃ and achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. The Vanke Foundation, representing Chinese social organizations, actively engaged in the "China Pavilion" at COP28, showcasing the "China Power in Action" through discussions on community roles in climate action. A notable highlight was the "Discovering Meisha" exhibition, organized by PILLS for the Vanke Foundation, which utilized pop-up books to depict the low-carbon initiatives of the Meisha Carbon Neutrality Community in Shenzhen. This exhibition showcased the community's approach to resource utilization, biodiversity protection, carbon reduction awareness, and low-carbon technology, presenting a model for sustainable living and the broader vision of a better life through carbon neutrality.
