Tucked away in the Alpine landscape, this villa offers its owners more than just beautiful views - it’s a space to disconnect from routine, take a pause, and enjoy quiet moments with family and friends. The project was all about balance: finding harmony between nature and architecture, simplicity and comfort, design and everyday life.
AIYA Bureau joined the project after the structure was already in place, but the entire interior concept, layout, and custom furniture were designed by the team. Their approach focuses on thoughtful planning, natural materials, and creating spaces that feel effortless and timeless.
The design reflects a refined interpretation of alpine living - with soft, neutral tones, warm wood, stone textures, and large windows framing the mountain views. To maintain a sense of continuity, the same oak wall panels and light stone floors run throughout the villa, creating a seamless, harmonious look.
The home is spread across four levels, all connected by both stairs and an elevator for convenience. The lowest floor - level C - accommodates technical rooms, storage, and a garage, keeping everyday functions discreetly hidden.
Level D is dedicated to rest and relaxation. It offers two guest suites with private bathrooms and a third flexible room that can serve as a gym or additional bedroom. The highlight here is the spa area - with a sauna, steam room, wellness zone, and an indoor pool. The space is designed as a private retreat, where natural textures and muted finishes create an atmosphere of quiet comfort.
Level E features an open-plan kitchen, dining area, and living room. The custom-made kitchen includes a sculptural stone island with a raw textured front, contrasting with smooth surfaces. Hidden storage, integrated appliances, stone details, and black fixtures complete the clean, modern look. A second pantry kitchen and wine cellar are tucked away to maintain the visual simplicity.
The living space is furnished with pieces by Flexform and Minotti. Curved lines, layered materials, and soft lighting add warmth and depth, while keeping the space light and open. Naturally, the fireplace serves as the focal point, bringing a sense of coziness and anchoring the room.
Level F holds the master bedroom, master bathroom, and dressing room. Natural tones and tactile materials create a peaceful, understated atmosphere. A soft bed is set against oak panels, framed by dark wood and stone nightstands. Opposite the bed, a fireplace adds a special comfort, perfectly complementing the alpine views beyond. Sculptural pendant lights and a textured rug introduce gentle accents, while furniture by Porada, Minotti, Cassina, and B&B Italia completes the space with quiet sophistication.
The same mood continues in the study room, where warm wood, soft fabrics, and clean lines shape a welcoming spot for work or rest. A caramel leather sofa, green armchair, and carefully placed accents make the space feel personal, while natural light highlights the refined details of the OKHA desk and Poltrona Frau chair.
Throughout the villa, the materials, textures, and details tell a story - creating a lifestyle that feels connected to the Alpine landscape, modern, yet grounded, with a sense of ease in every corner.
