La Bohème
Je vous parle d'un temps ,Jusque sous nos fenêtres ,
Qui nous servait de nid ,

La bohème, la bohème.
Ça voulait dire on est heureux.
Avec le ventre creux,
nous récitions des vers en oubliant l'hiver,

La Boheme presents an unusual way of practicing life, in a society with the same thoughts, in a permanent relationship including music, art and writing.
Bohemians represent people who have focused themselves in a lower class, lower cost than usual and often practicing a nomadic life. Their life is peacefully nomadic, cheerful, colorful with intellectual tendencies, living and acting without rules and without limits. They are always prejudged for their lifestyles but they don’t care, they found the elixir of life, called “free soul” and a “free soul” never dies.
In one way the containers are similar to Bohemians. In difference from static object, containers are always in motion, having a nomadic life moving from one place to other. Also prejudged for its value of the material and its low cost, but in fact its value of the spirit of it is far from what we think. We can find them anywhere in the world as a unique object, an object that can be different colors and functions, whether that be on its own or in group, due to its tranquility it can ignore all the surrounding environment.
Our Concept derived considering all the above. In our case the surrounding environment is dominated from the vertical element, therefore our containers are extended in horizontal manner, in harmony with each other and the views, offering this way a clean appearance. We kept their originality in order to experience their “skin”. The interior is presented differently to us, as a bohemian spirit that giving us tranquility. The style of the interior, the method by which rooms are separated, the minimalism, a dose of traditional style and the views give us a cozy space, clean, artistic, poetic and very exciting.
On the outside there is a open white covering element with holes shaped as a labyrinth which keeps the inner of Containers fresh, while it gives emphasize to the texture of the containers raw exterior. The north-west side has the height of the container to not obstruct the view from the street, while the south-eastern side increases in height giving us a new experience that leads to infinity.
Below, in a virgin field shadow prevails at all times. The presence of columns, the shadow and a total untouched terrain makes the underground space look like a forest where combines with an artificial element. The barbeque area and the presence of water make this part quite active. Crafted from the core philosophy of architecture, the project includes elements of an early modernist of Le Corbusier, the presence of piles below ground make the object appear like is floating in the air. While three staircases lead and down, one of them is ramp for people with disabilities, leads one to the promenade.
