Located in Itano District, Tokushima Prefecture. The client desires their house to be consisted of two delivery containers that is a wide of 40 feet.
Also, they were planned that the container mainly used for hobby space such as a motorcycle and music appreciation. Then, we designed the pleasant space to be closed to their daily life not just for hobby.

Delivery containers generally remind us closed spaces. And also, we need a closed space in daily life such as a storage, bedroom, plumbing area, and library.
Therefore, we planed to construct three wooden containers for the closed but required space, which is stood out as a wide of 20 feet delivery container.
Then, we designed this house to be consisted of 5 containers that 2 containers which is 40 feet-wide and 3 containers which is 20 feet-wide.

Specifically, we arranged 40 feet-wide containers so as to hold 20 feet-wide containers on south and north sides in the lot, which provide beautiful scenery of bank of Yoshino River in a south district.
The layout that has margin space brings an area from north to south between these containers. The area can make a feeling of spaciousness and connection between indoors and outdoors. In this case, the entrance and the living room.
That means closed space and spaciousness space are connected because these are alternately arranged so as to be overlapped each other.
These containers can be a part of daily life space, and allow the family to have a good time in daily life due to coming and going of each member of this family.
