Binling is a beautiful place, with high-quality natural endowment. With the implementation of "Golden Binling Plan", the economy has been well developed and the ecological environment has been further improved.

Concerning of the "demolish village and settle the resident to urban" policy controversy, we have adopted a more balanced approach in the planning , when transforming the original residential buildings into commercial buildings, we have taken into account the possibility of having local people keep staying in their old place with better living environment and sanitation conditions, they should always have the right to choose their own living style and environment . we try to preserve the local architectural form; All the renovation and reconstruction are realized in low cost strictly guaranteed to be within the original site.

For the transformation design of the town, we have adopted "minimal" intervention principle rather than building a total new street. We hope that some improvement or renewal of local business and buildings can bring vitality and momentum to the town. We respect and love the naturally simplicity and “time traces” of the buildings and spaces there.

We plan to rebuild Bingling Temple on it’s old site and hope to add a village history exhibition room there to give the villager some their tradition's warm memory.

We hope that the spatial layout pattern of "one village, one city, one tower and one temple” can be well integrated into local natural and cultural environment.

we suggest interplanting, which is actually the ancient agricultural wisdom of Western Sichuan. based on the current industrial positioning of “golden pomelo planting and mandarin fish raising”, we further envisage the derivative economy, such as flowers, honey, ecological cosmetics, green food.

We have provided more public service products, mandarin fish restaurant and golden pomelo product market for tourists, small library and local art workshop for students, and meeting space and festival market for the elderly.

We planned a water circulation system, the “flowing water” is not only conducive to the fish farm enriching the bio habitats, but also brings Binling with vivid living mood of "In peach-mirrored stream mandarin fish are full grown”. That is not just a beautiful poem but also essential of Chinese wisdom.

Binling will be more prosperous with it's development be integrated into the greater ambition of Chengdu garden city and the national rural revitalization strategy.
