The building is situated in a triangular site in the border of La Condesa neighbourhood, with very interesting views towards Mazatlán street but with a border to an intense street in Mexico City. The project started as a series of formal explorations about potential organisations of the mass of the building. The proposal is guided by a simple structural proposal of a square divided in 9 blocks that allow for variation and alternation of the different apartment schemes. In this way we managed to organise one bedroom studios, 2 level apartments with two bedrooms and one level two bedrooms apartments.The scheme generates and interesting variation in the disposition of the access balconies in the different levels and a pattern in the facade because of the alternated disposition of the apartments, and finally complemented with variation in the windows and ventilation panels of the same facade.
