This family company, Van den Hende Beton, is specialized in the manufacturing of prefab concrete elements, from retaining walls to tiles and bricks. With the renovation of their offices, they were looking for an exhibition space to show their clients this wide range of products. Enplus Architecten chose to use these elements in the construction and the completion of the offices. The building blocks themself are the exhibition space.
Tiles were used on the floor, as well as the finish on facades and the 'LPR' concrete strip was used to make a single, bearing wall, that is at the same time the finished facade. This 1m long concrete element was designed by Nicolas Blondeel, Enplus Architecten and is now a permanent part of the Van den Hende's product mix.
