Responding to tech and socio-economic trends, our Sino-German Future City planning aims for a fresh urban blueprint. To attract top industries and global talent, we focus on bringing together ecological beauty, production excellence, and top-notch living standards. After analyzing global cases and researches on "future city," our planning identifies six trends: customization, complexity, sharing, resilience, efficiency, and humanization. Building on these, the upgraded Sino-German Ecopark version 2.0 prioritizes in five aspects:
1.Three new spatial prototypes for changing daily activities: block with interior garden and street commerce, pastoral space, and future plaza.
2.Optimized underground spaces with a Garden-style Sunlit Underground Garage and principles of “no cars in the blocks, public transportation first, and pedestrian dominance”.
3.Expanding the 'Jiayuan' (fifteen-minute living circle) concept with the “Intelligent Building Hub” module at the architectural level.
4.Proposing a regional energy management platform for green tech adoption.
5.Providing digital solutions for community management with an emphasis on education, environmental protection, and transportation.
Our plan includes four key innovations:
1.AI for land growth prediction and function allocation.
2.Implementing 4th generation City Information Modeling (CIM) for urban planning, construction and governance.
3.A planning and construction control system with traditional codes and three unique guidelines, integrating experiences from both China and Germany
4.The "Sino-German Future City Collaborative Innovation Center" for multiple design and research units working in tandem.
The project incorporates sustainable systems, healthy or climate-positive materials, and ethical building practices throughout the design, construction, and maintenance processes, certified by LEED, DGNB, and Breeam. The project has garnered notable success in professional recognition, societal impact, and intelligent operation and maintenance.
