Competition project for sustainable housing
The main idea of the project is to emphasize the importance of the concept of self-sustainability in the present age, which was the subject of its competition. Of course, the term self-sustainability is not just about renewable energy, but also about general awareness of society and consciousness of each human being.
Our choice of a ,,mediator'', through which my team and I presented our view of healthy life in a healthy environment was a design of basic housing unit or a single-family house adjustable anywhere in America. Our belief is that the behavior, attitudes and principles of each individual, forms at home and comes from the family.
Therefore, the formulation of our ideas is focused on the basic single-family house as a starting point for every man in the comprehension of global sustainability. Natural principles are renewability and cyclicity, which presents life. In nature there is no place for human egocentrism.
