For this project, I used an inversion of public and private to demonstrate the prevalence of community within the families living here. I focused the more public rooms like kitchens and living spaces toward the private central courtyard to create a sense of community within the families that live there. I then arranged the more private rooms, such as bedrooms, facing the surrounding neighborhood to help the families develop a sense of community with the culture and community of the surrounding area.
