Multi-Award winning urban residential development designed by Paul Stallan and Alistair Brand of Stallan-Brand. The Games Village firstly provided accommodation for over 7,000 athletes as part of the 2014 Commonwalth Games event to then become a significant post Games legacy environment. The location provides for a rich mix of public and private house and tenure type, varying public spaces and infrastructure for future expansion including local school provision. The project was heralded a great success and has been promoted by Government as an industry exemplar especially in its commitment to sustainability and its carbon neutral achievement.
