Pushkinsky Theater is one of symbol of Moscow. In this white city the film theater is the color of everyday life. İt changes its face in time. As Pushkinsky brings color into real life, it also gives color to its environment. During different events like gala days or festival times, Pushkinsky changes color with its sliding surface panels.
The facede of Pushkinsky theater will covored with new material(DuPont Corian). As a second facade a new steel structure will be build. Colored glass panels (DuPont SentryGlass) slides on this steel structure according to the Pushkinsky event. Event by event Pushkisnky changes its color. Between old and new facade a new platform designed. This platform can be use for exhibition or other activities. Pushkinsky’s outer circulation will combine together on the edges of new facade. With this circulation, citizens of Moscow can walk on the roof of Pushkinsky. They will have chance to see different perspectives of Moscow. New facade will bring colorful days to Moscow…
