Colonna Traiana - temporary lighting event
Rome - Tuesday 17 March 2009 at 18.00 was held the ceremony of
inauguration of the massive restoration of the hemicycle, built around
the column in 1814, that Pope Pius VII commissioned to Valadier and
Bianchi.
CAFElab, thanks to the sponsorship of Martin professional, has
contributed to the event with spectacular lighting that transformed, for
a few days, Colonna Traiana in a urban clock-scale.
From sunset, for a minute to each hour, the monument is
illuminated in red pomeiano light until midnight, when it shines briey
to pure white,a blue sapphire light greets the new day.
