This project was a side hall colonial which involved extensive remodeling throughout the first floor & an exterior face lift. All of the existing roofing, siding, trim, windows & doors were replaced, which greatly improved the curb appeal of the house (removing the overgrown shrubs did wonders, as well). The rear deck was removed & replaced with a blue stone terrace, with access from the kitchen as well as the living room.
On the first floor, the kitchen was remodeled & enlarged, now being adjacent to the living room & the rear terrace. A much larger mud room was created as well, which is a key room these days.
