The concept chosen is related to the iconographic house shape, as a child idea, that extends to any type of space and construction. The existing building already suggests this shape, with its double-pitched gable roof. The expansion stands out as an unquestionably new body where the openings are strictly created on utilitarian and regulatory terms. All openings, despite the similarity with the house icon, are the result of the specific need of each space. Even the chimney, somewhat graphic but very convenient, appears in the façade design and has actual use, making the exhaustion of the HVAC system. Inside, the space was designed by the same concept, promoting not only ambient quality, but also the stimulation of its inhabitants for the enjoyment of space, according to the various age groups.
