Colegio de Profesionales
FOCUS developed a project that unifies history and innovation — a 72,000 m² complex designed to bring together all the professional associations of Guatemala. Inspired by the ancient Mayan cities of the Postclassic period, we organized the program around a central plaza located at the highest point of the site, evoking the strategy and sense of community of our ancestors.
This complex is the result of a collaboration with Taller ACÁ, who was in charge of the urban planning. The proposal earned second place among 27 submissions and focuses on capturing the essence of what it means to be Guatemalan, blending past and future within a single space.
