‘The good life at the coast’ in north-western Denmark was a 2-stage competition, with focus on common future development of three rural villages along the coast of Thy. In collaboration with Preben Skaarup Landskabsarkitekter, Force4 Architects has won the competition with three individual buildings as well as the urban landscaping and new circulation . The proposal includes a new surfhouse in Klitmøller, changing facilities in Nr. Vorupoer as well as a new shelter / multihouse in Krik (see Krik). As a sustainable strategy, all three buildingsdesigns are continuations or re-use of existing structures.
