This renovation in Phoenix, Arizona combined a modern layout with traditional finishes to produce a cozy home that seamlessly blends into its neighborhood. The existing 3 bedroom 1 bath house was typical for the 1940’s…a layout that does not function very well for today’s modern families. Sacrificing one bedroom allowed for a master ensuite and generous walk-in closet. A second bathroom was added for the remaining guest bedroom. Careful material selection mixed durable, budget-minded materials like subway tile with high-end lighting and hardware to give the home a timeless feel.
