This project of offices is one of the most important buildings in Europe at this end of this century. It is located in the heart of La Défense along the historic axis of Paris from the Louvre to the Grande Arche covering over 350,000m² of developed surface area.
It consists of two twin towers of 180m high connected by an element called "intertower" and three low buildings of 8 floors. These towers are all connected to each other by a large atrium of 44m high covering more then one hectare of area.
The typology sought within this project was a search to move away from the model of thick towers and to design fine towers allowing to obtain a maximum slenderness and generate workspaces always close to the facades benefiting from a maximum quantity of the natural light .
The atrium, a complex space set on a three-storey basement, is the highest of which connects to the Charles de Gaulle esplanade and contains access to all the buildings, restaurants, services and conference center of this complex. This will be home to approximately 10,000 people. This project also includes the technical premises, archives, deliveries, kitchens, taxis and the five levels of parking and 3,000 vehicles found below.
This project was developed in accordance with procedures of high environmental quality (QHE)
