The term Contemporary Indochine Style may be achieved with the combination of textural modern design with retro colonial vintage vibes to create interesting spaces. Cocotte Bistro is an international restaurant located in Transform’s award-winning serviced apartments building called Sila Urban Living in the heart of Saigon. Hand-made French Colonial tiles, with interesting patterns are combined to form wall and floor accents. Craftsmanship in Vietnam is still cost effective so we have utilized this advantage to create custom-designed interiors to complement a tropical setting of timber structure and slats, concrete flooring and cnc cut wood panels. Amazing bespoke designs using the skills of artisans to transform spaces with specialized patterns and textures are still possible in Vietnam - to create environments which are special, yet cost effective.
