Cocotte is a temporary installation designed for the annual Squamish at Dusk light festival, using salvaged materials from the 2024 Vancouver Interior Design Show. Repurposing CNC-milled wood panels from the Perpetua Bar installation, the design reinterprets the original materials with new purpose, creating a sculptural, light-filled passage that encourages movement, interaction, and curiosity. Cocotte speaks to the potential of reuse in architectural storytelling, extending the life of each component while reducing environmental impact. Set against the backdrop of Squamish’s winter landscape, the glowing tunnel becomes both a visual landmark and a symbol of creative regeneration.
