Coccodrillo, the world-renowned Antwerp shoe store, has opened together with Antwerp’s fashion temple Verso, its third glamorous boutique. The extensive use of green marble and warm powder tones creates an environment of quiet luxury and quality in which the shoes become the natural centre of attention. The main idea was to create a glamorous shop where women can fit salon shoes and shop in a comfortable boutique where you can feel at home. In the centre we created a sculpture, which reminds us of the salons and bars, which where designed in the transatlantic cruise ships during the 20’s. The created atmosphere and materials are closely linked with the Golden Twenties and Hollywood glamour in his early glory days.
