Two opposing theories dominate the design for sales areas: one grabs the buyer's attention through a design that creates a space similar to a theater or gaming; another nod to the buyer with the goods designing spaces that differ according to the type of customer.
In the space designed by architect Roman Luigi Angelo Tartaglia for the sale of men's clothing, theories are both taken into account by performing sophisticated manipulations in order to create a space that certainly has a dramatic character in their impact and at the same time lets you clearly perceive the expository method. The store was created by the union of two adjacent retail space on two levels, this feature was even more pronounced by the desire to create a volume with exactly two different heights, as if one permeate the another. The display elements follow the perimeter of the plant; this allows to leave ample space for movement in the central part of both levels. A rarefied space and impalpable, characterized by metaphysical elements such as display boards and shelves jutting supported by a steel cone and glass shelves full height tapered. The graphic composition following linear geometries, each orthogonal, the other an angle of 45 ° characterize clearly the difference between the two volumes, the only elements are represented by curved steel handles of the doors, whose shape evokes the last initial of the owner. Maximum visibility of the shop was one of the features that accompanied the action, and the choice of materials transcends the traditional static concepts. The glass becomes the foundation for all that will be exposed in the shop, as opposed to the regular scan and more incisive container wooden knitting and intimate. The cash desk and one of the sales plans become horizontal surfaces made of glass plates read one o'clock embedded in a single block of marble and the other as if to cut off one of the wooden cylinders. The areas dedicated to various goods are simply indicated by generating lines remarked up the alignment of the headlights recessed. Two-week fifth in copper are the only material elements which together with the green marble "Guatemala" the platforms come off chromatically throughout the intervention. The two scenes in copper were placed to conceal the one in the stairway to the store on the lower level, the other to the space laboratory where the tailor make repairs on tailored suits. The floor is made of tiles of large format marble reassembled the "Stone Italy." The wood used is maple natural.
