This 1,300 square foot duplex renovation aimed to accommodate multiple functions of day-to-day living while simplifying the spaces within.
The apartment, which sits on the 3rd and 4th floors of a historic Clinton Hill mansion, was gutted to expose aged wooden beams and allow for the installation of a new stair between it's levels. This new stair was key to creating more functional living spaces on the first floor, providing storage as well as spaces to work and showcase the client's personal items. A custom birch screen and custom millwork round out the striking design elements within this apartment.
